About the Role:

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Start Date: As soon as possible

Daily Pay Rate: £100 - £110 (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, term time only

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of a school's administrative functions. Duties may include:

  • Managing front-of-house reception duties with professionalism and a warm welcome
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and accurately
  • Updating and maintaining pupil records on SIMS or equivalent MIS system
  • Supporting with attendance and safeguarding data
  • Assisting SLT and wider school staff with administrative tasks and correspondence
  • Liaising with parents, pupils, and staff with confidentiality and care

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have prior experience working within a school or educational setting. Applications from candidates without this background will not be considered. You will also need:

  • A clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)
  • Excellent ICT skills and confidence using school systems (e.g., SIMS)
  • A proactive and professional approach to supporting school operations
  • The ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail under pressure
