About the role

Annual Salary - £12.21 to £13.50

Location - Stevenage and Chelsea

Shift Timings - Minimum of 24 hours a week, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends

You will be working on a well-known high-class public building where you will be responsible for providing customer and architecture safety. We are looking for a reliable and loyal officer who is willing to take on this opportunity.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Patrolling the museum
  • Investigating disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the building
  • Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices
  • Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive visitor relations
  • Meet and greet with the visitors
  • Always welcoming the visitors in and out of the museum
  • Ensuring all objects/architectures are safe and none are broken

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Dual License - SIA and CCTV
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ex-military background preferred
  • 5-year checkable work/career history
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
  • Physically fit to undertake given tasks
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
