About the role
Annual Salary - £12.21 to £13.50
Location - Stevenage and Chelsea
Shift Timings - Minimum of 24 hours a week, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends
You will be working on a well-known high-class public building where you will be responsible for providing customer and architecture safety. We are looking for a reliable and loyal officer who is willing to take on this opportunity.
Your main responsibilities may include:
- Patrolling the museum
- Investigating disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the building
- Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices
- Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive visitor relations
- Meet and greet with the visitors
- Always welcoming the visitors in and out of the museum
- Ensuring all objects/architectures are safe and none are broken
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- Dual License - SIA and CCTV
- Excellent time management skills
- Ex-military background preferred
- 5-year checkable work/career history
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- Physically fit to undertake given tasks
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
