Reinstatement manager

I am working alongside a regional civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a reinstatement manager to help deliver ongoing frameworks across Derbyshire and surrounding counties. Reinstatement manager responsibilities: • Plan and schedule reinstatement works, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements. • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues. • Manage resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure project efficiency. • Oversee day-to-day reinstatement operations, including road surfaces, pavements, and landscaping works. • Ensure reinstatement works meet required specifications, including National Joint Utilities Group (NJUG) and Highways standards. • Monitor and manage the performance of teams, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget. • Promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, including NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) and HSE standards. • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks. • Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship. • Conduct site inspections and address any defects or non-conformance issues promptly. • Ensure proper documentation and certification of completed works. • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders. • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management. • Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. • Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met. • Identify and manage variations, ensuring accurate cost control and reporting. • Assist in preparing valuations and final accounts. Reinstatement manager requirements: * Right to work in the UK. * CSCS card. * SMSTS. * NRSWA. * Previous experience and knowledge of NRSWA. * IT literate. * Full UK driving licence.
