My client who are a growing and thriving business who are on an excellent growth trajectory for the next 5 years are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly and welcoming team and support their purchasing function.
Your duties will include:
- Manage purchase order processes
- Manage the completion of associated documentation for new suppliers and contractors and setting up on Sage in line with the process
- Manage contractor validations to ensure compliance, conduct CIS checks, currency of insurances and any qualifications required for scope of works
- Arranging return of goods to suppliers and credits for items returned in conjunction with Sales and Warehouse as necessary and ensure Return Process is managed through to credit posting
- Resolve invoice queries
- Support the Purchasing Manager with data and trend analysis
You must have:
- Sage system experience (ideally)
- Buyer experience preferred
- Good communicator
- Good problem solving skills
- Experienced user of Microsoft office (especially Excel)
- Good negotiator
- Able to build effective relationships with suppliers
- Organisational and planning skills
