About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major COMAH infrastructure business working on critical UK energy projects, including CCS, Hydrogen, and alternative energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery – Manage projects from initiation to completion.
- Cost Control – Oversee budgets, contracts, and spending approvals.
- Project Execution – Develop Project Execution Plans (PEPs) aligned with company procedures.
- Contract Management – Define completion criteria, create closure plans, and handle contractual documents.
- Risk & Quality Management – Identify and mitigate risks, manage non-conformances, and drive quality improvements.
- Scheduling & Reporting – Track progress, costs, cash flow, and generate internal & external reports.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Attend client meetings, lead internal/external project meetings, and manage contract scope changes.
- Project Closure – Assess costs, document lessons learned, and finalize project closure activities.
Minimum Requirements
- HND or Degree in Engineering
- Project Management qualification (PMI, APM, or similar)
- Strong background in Construction, Mining, Nuclear, Rail, Refinery, or Chemical industries
