We require an experienced Local Government Finance professional to support temporary capacity issues on the Co-ordination and Technical Team within Financial Management. The successful applicant will be CIPFA qualified with Local Government finance experience. We are specifically looking for experience in any / all of the following areas:
- Accounting for Leases
- Collection Fund Accounting
- VAT Accounting
Essential skills:
- Excellent excel skills (e.g. pivot tables)
- Experienced in managing and manipulating data
- Experienced in application of accounting standards
- Confident to work independently (with direction)
- Confident to challenge and suggest improvement to processes
Planned activities:
