We're seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part Time Accounts Assistant to join our clients Accounting & Finance department in Peterborough. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our manufacturing and production firm, handling a range of tasks, from processing invoices to assisting with monthly management accounts.

Description
- Processing of supplier invoices and payments
- Producing monthly turnover report
- Processing staff expenses
- Chasing overdue payments
- Processing payment run
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of financial transactions
- Coordinating with other members of the Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth operations
- Performing other ad hoc duties as required
Profile
A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:
- AAT qualification or similar
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of VAT returns and management accounts
