Painter and Decorator

SKILLS REQUIRED Project planning – Assessing space, understanding client preferences, calculating material need and cost for task ahead. Surface preparation – sanding, filling, cleaning. Applying undercoats and primers. Using various techniques and tools to apply paint. Adding decorative elements like stains and varnishes where necessary. Be able to caulk & silicon to a good standard. Required: Enhanced DBS (Essential) Own tools and brushes – Own step ladder and hop ups Correct PPE CSCS Card NVQ level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent is beneficial Own van (Essential) Over 3 years trade experience
