One full time Social Worker needed for the Social Care Mental Health team. The role is initially advertised for 3 months, however may be extended depending on the situation and permanent recruitment.

The Social Worker should be experienced in managing complex Adults Mental Health cases whilst working for a local authority; this is NOT a Care Coordinator role. They should have experience working under Care Act completing assessments, reviews and safeguarding, working with multi disciplinary professionals, S117, attending ward rounds, working with Housing and brokerage, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, and duty work.

The Social Worker should be a driver with their own transport to travel around the borough and out of borough when needed. They will need to be experienced working under pressurised environment and prioritising workloads. The Social Workers should be proactive with managing the complex case loads.
