Portsmouth - Central - Hampshire £45,000-£55,000 + good benefits

Vardey Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, highly innovative, and ambitious engineering company in central Portsmouth (Hampshire) who is hiring a Marketing Manager to work closely with the MD and partner with the Business Development team. This Marketing Manager's job is a newly created opportunity with the initial focus on bringing the marketing piece in-house from an external consultant thus enabling an experienced Marketing Manager to make this job their own!

The Marketing Manager's job role includes:

  • Marketing plan development and execution
  • Content creation and brand management
  • Create and manage engaging content for newsletters, social media, websites, and print materials
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and act as a brand guardian
  • Manage social media channels and online content to boost brand visibility and engagement
  • Track performance metrics and optimise strategies for improved reach and effectiveness
  • Develop marketing materials to support the sales team & ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, providing insights and feedback
  • Prepare and manage press releases, working with external PR agencies when required
  • Organise and coordinate company events, sponsorships, and marketing functions to enhance brand exposure
  • Develop and execute internal marketing initiatives to promote company news, updates, and achievements
  • Foster a culture of engagement by creating internal newsletters, organising internal events, and managing employee communication channels
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure key messages are effectively communicated across the organisation
  • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, such as digital agencies and printers
  • Identify and implement process improvements and new initiatives to support business growth.
