Are you a Marine Engineer with proven experience maintaining and installing both inboard and outboard motors, looking to join a growing company based in a brand new facility? This company is based on the River Yar and has been established for over three decades. Providing an extensive range of services to encompass all craft, they can perform anything from routine servicing to upgrades and complete vessel renovations.

This hands-on role will see the successful candidate fault finding, servicing and repairing a range of Volvo, Mercury, Yanmar and Honda outboard and inboard marine engines. Other duties will include plumbing works and general electrical repairs. The right candidate for the role will be focused on positive communication, remaining professional in this client-facing role where any negative news travels fast.

The Role:

  • Perform varied work on leisure boats from small RIBs and auxiliary engines to large sailing and motor yachts
  • Installation, servicing, repairs and fault finding on a range of electrical and plumbing works
  • Installations of mechanical and domestic equipment within new and used boats
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting including reactive call-out repairs
  • Formal product specific training with partners including Volvo Penta, Honda and Mercury

The Person:

  • Proven Marine Engineering experience
  • Full UK Drivers licence
