We are recruiting exclusively for a fast-paced, and rapidly growing company based in Nottingham. With an ambitious growth agenda and a collaborative culture, they are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who also brings strong FP&A skills to join their team. The Role: You will take ownership of the management accounts process while also supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning and analysis. You will be working closely with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to drive performance and shape the future of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions.
- Support strategic planning and scenario modelling.
- Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
- Contribute to system and process improvements as the business scales.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial planning & analysis
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- Commercially savvy with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is highly desirable
