Our client is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working.
ROLE
Ensuring that the monthly and annual financial reporting of the business is undertaken within strict reporting deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assistance with monthly and year end reporting.
- Balance sheet analysis (Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations to be reviewed).
- Assisting with the preparation of the Group Annual Budget, along with the subsequent quarterly reforecasts.
- Assistance with Financial analytics and review.
- Assisting with any queries regarding quarterly VAT returns.
- Preparation of Monthly Operational Reporting packs/KPI reporting.
- Assisting with the data collection and auditor queries as part of the annual audit.
- Influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders to enable them to make informed financial decisions.
- Sales/cash forecasting/cashflow preparation for review.
- Working closely with the Finance Manager and developing relationships with key operational stakeholders across business units to provide key financial support to operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential: Newly Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (ICAS/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent), Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field or Qualified by Experience in a similar role.
