Our client is one of the UK’s leading house builders serving local communities across the UK and delivering around 10,000 homes a year. Due to continued success, they are recruiting for a Legal Assistant to work in their Plot team. You will be reporting to the Company Solicitor/Head of Northampton Plots, however, work will be undertaken for all operating companies across the group.

The Role

  • Dealing with variation agreements, freehold reversion transfers, consents, deed of covenant, and other legal agreements as directed.
  • Dealing with miscellaneous legal advice and legal tasks as directed.
  • If required, assist the Plot Sales Team and Legal Manager/Assistant Legal Manager/Conveyancers with Plot-related transactions.
  • Legal research as and when required.

Candidate

  • Conveyancing experience desirable, although candidates currently working in a Legal Assistant role who would like to progress their career in property will also be considered.
  • Law Graduates with a keen interest in developing a career in property will also be considered.
  • You will be educated to A Level (or equivalent).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.
