Lead Engineer

Job Title: Lead Engineer – Electrical bias Location: St Paul’s, Cannon Street Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Salary: £52,000 Company: Well-Established Building Services Company About the Role: I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my clients team, to be based at a site in St Paul’s. In this role, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across this large corporate building. You will spend a mixture of your day focusing on leadership duties, with the flexibility in performing hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E and critical systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day activities within the engineering team and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. Perform your delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues. Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.
