Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Heavy Industry Maintenance Electrician (apprenticeship served), for a permanent position with our client based in Llanbydder. You will be working on repairs and maintenance of fixed plant (including conveyors, pumps, motors, PLCs, etc). Experience of working in an industrial environment/manufacturing/crushing & screening is an advantage but not essential.
Duties:
- Ensure breakdowns are repaired efficiently
- Deliver preventative maintenance to avoid downtime
- Ensure safe motor maintenance and panel maintenance
- Assist with the installation of electrical projects
- Safely operate a variety of equipment from motor control and switch gear to conveyors and PLCs
- Possess excellent fault finding skills, be solution focused, flexible and motivated
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safe standards of operations
- Hold a time-served apprenticeship
- Be computer literate
- Have experience and relevant qualifications to be able to work in heavy industry
Qualifications:
- 2391 inspection and testing
- 17th/18th Edition of BS 7671
