Tennial personnel are seeking Night Shift Hygiene Operatives to work for our new client based in Colchester Essex. This is a temporary to permanent position upon completing the probation period (8 weeks) working a shift pattern of four nights on then four nights off with optional overtime available. Shifts include 6pm – 3am.

Duties will include:

  • Cleaning and sanitising production machinery
  • Adhering to Health and Safety practices
  • Completing daily, weekly, and periodic cleans of machine and production rooms
  • Dismantling machinery for deep cleaning
  • Working with chemicals
  • Completing and signing off paperwork
  • Covering holidays and absence
  • Working alongside the Hygiene manager, hygiene supervisor and team leaders to drive improvements and factory standards

Full training and PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided. The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, reliable, a team player, and have a conscientious approach with attention to detail. Transport is desired due to location.
