We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to be our Head of SIPP Finance. The SIPP Practice Area provides administration and trusteeship services to over 70,000 self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised and have ambitious plans to grow our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day budget management responsibility
- Regular liaison with Finance team on expenses and accruals
- Supporting commercial management with the negotiation of contracts with key suppliers and institutional partners and strategic planning
- Business case preparation and benefit realization for new investment and proposition development, expense initiatives & business development opportunities
- Analysis of business processes in the context of the business plan
- Preparation of the annual SIPP business area budget
- Liaising with main finance function in development of financial reports to assist management decision making
- In depth analysis of customer transactions with specific reference to life events within pension portfolios
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) is essential
- Business partnering experience is highly desirable
- Financial services experience is desirable
- Strong influencing and communications skills
- Ability to explain complex financial matters in a clear and understandable way
