We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to be our Head of SIPP Finance. The SIPP Practice Area provides administration and trusteeship services to over 70,000 self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised and have ambitious plans to grow our customer base.

Responsibilities:

  1. Day to day budget management responsibility
  2. Regular liaison with Finance team on expenses and accruals
  3. Supporting commercial management with the negotiation of contracts with key suppliers and institutional partners and strategic planning
  4. Business case preparation and benefit realization for new investment and proposition development, expense initiatives & business development opportunities
  5. Analysis of business processes in the context of the business plan
  6. Preparation of the annual SIPP business area budget
  7. Liaising with main finance function in development of financial reports to assist management decision making
  8. In depth analysis of customer transactions with specific reference to life events within pension portfolios

  1. Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) is essential
  2. Business partnering experience is highly desirable
  3. Financial services experience is desirable
  4. Strong influencing and communications skills
  5. Ability to explain complex financial matters in a clear and understandable way
