Key Responsibilities as a Head of Religious Education:

  1. Department Leadership: Lead the Religious Education department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
  2. Curriculum Management: Develop and oversee an engaging and inclusive Religious Education curriculum, promoting knowledge, understanding, and critical thinking skills.
  3. Teaching Excellence: Deliver outstanding lessons and act as a role model to staff and students, fostering a love of learning.
  4. Team Development: Mentor and support staff within the department, inspiring collaboration and continuous professional development.
  5. Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to ensure individual and group achievement.

Essential Requirements for Head of Religious Education:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Demonstrated expertise in Religious Education.
