We are seeking a dedicated Head of Geography Teacher with a passion for Geography teaching up to and including A level in an all-girl multi faith Church of England School. The successful Head of Geography Teacher will achieve outstanding progress and outcomes for all students taught within the subject area as well as fulfilling a Pastoral role as a Form tutor or Academic coach as required.
The ideal Head of Geography will have strong subject knowledge and high expectations to challenge, motivate and inspire students and colleagues. Making links with local organisations to enhance the geography curriculum will be essential as well as planning and running field trips and ensuring paperwork and risk assessments are completed. The Head of Geography Teacher will ensure that staff remain informed about the latest development in pedagogy and examination practices.
