A leading and growing London company is seeking a qualified Head of FP&A for their offices in South London. The ideal candidate will come from either a private equity background or a large corporate. You will be hands-on with demonstrable system accounting skills and experience of business partnering across all areas of the business. The Head of FP&A will be strategic and have the ability to contribute to the longer-term vision of the finance team.

Responsibilities

1. Budgeting and forecasting
2. Budget process transformation
3. Lead 3-year corporate plan
4. Provision of accurate management information
5. Analysis of business activities and cost drivers to SLT
6. Provide recommendations to improve company financial performance
7. Planning models to aid improved efficiency and accuracy of planning processes
8. Review/evaluate FP&A processes and workflows
9. Develop systems to improve efficiency of processes and information flows
10. Develop a strong understanding of the financial profile and modelling of the business
11. Maximise profitability
12. Production, analysis, and evaluation of business cases to support projects and initiatives including supporting directors and management team in costing of annual pay negotiations

Experience

1. Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
2. Experience within a senior management role within FP&A
3. Extensive analysis skills
4. Proven record of redesigning and developing financial processes and implementing change
5. People management and development
6. Experience within the transportation industry would be desirable
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to detail complex financial issues with both finance and non-finance
9. Excellent quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills
10. Strong system accounting skills, Oracle and TM1 preferred
11. Influencing and leadership skills
