We are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing Manager. You will be working in the Wokingham area Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm. Temp Contract - Ongoing. Day rate - £280.29 per day umbrella.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a full time Team Manager to oversee the operational management of some of the public realm facilities and contracts, including Parks and open spaces, Street Cleansing and Cemeteries.

Main Duties

  • Manage six highly experienced team members
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of our parks and open spaces is maintained in conjunction with our contractors
  • Provide expert advice to Councillors, senior managers and residents
  • To undertake and progress existing projects in line with our Climate Emergency Action Plan
  • Keep updated with current legislation and government changes
  • To help train and coach colleagues on the team including new colleagues and cross training within the team as well as attendance at relevant meetings.
