Import freight Forwarding & Customs operator required for a freight forwarder in the London Gateway area, this freight forwarder imports a wide range of goods. The company as well as a freight forwarder is also a 3PL provider.

This role will be supporting the account managers to ensure all the customs documents and import paperwork is on file, you will be using CDS. This role covers the administration duties of an import freight forwarder & the declaration paperwork entry of a customs clerk.

We are looking for an Import freight Forwarding operator who will put the customs entries onto the systems using CDS, that the customs brokerage then processes, you will ensure all the paperwork is correct. You will also carry out all required global Import operational procedures, documents, Government Import authorities and global suppliers and customers requirements. This role will include all the normal freight forwarding duties & covering customs too.

Experience

We are looking for a freight forwarder who will have experience with import paperwork, customs paperwork, using CDS. You will have IT literacy with a good working knowledge of a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office. You will also have a good understanding of basic freight forwarding procedures which is essential. This is an ideal role for a freight forwarder who is looking to focus more on the documents side.
