About us: We are a national supplier of fire safety and fire risk services with over 38 years of experience in the sector. This is a role that is focused on the delivery of fire extinguisher servicing. You will be working in a different environment every day and across a variety of locations. We trust our engineers to be the face of our business and engage with our clients to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service.

You will be expected to:

  • Service, maintain, and install portable fire extinguishers to current British Standards.
  • Accurately complete engineer service reports.
  • Identify and report any deficiencies or deviations with the extinguishers.
  • Carry out regular van stock checks and liaise with the Technical Supervisor and Procurement Department to ensure stock levels are replenished and appropriately maintained.
  • Adopt a strong Health and Safety mindset, proactively identifying potential risks and reporting any issues promptly to support the safety of yourself and others.

The ideal candidate for a Fire Extinguisher Technician will have:

  • A flexible approach to work, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), plus the opportunity to earn occasional overtime on required weekend projects.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience in the servicing of fire extinguishers under BS 5306 Part 3 (not a necessity as training can be given).
