Our busy trim shop offers a wide range of automotive trimming services, from repairs to full re-trims. We work on classic cars as well as modern, priding ourselves on achieving quality work to the highest standard for both OEM and bespoke projects.
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and hard working individual with automotive trimming experience to join our team; experience will be reflected in pay. It is essential that our new team member has trimming experience specific to the automotive industry. Our busy trim shop is not in a position to take on a trainee at this time or anybody with only furniture trimming experience.
It is important to us that our small team is strong, positive and supportive. We are eager to grow and welcome a new employee who has a keen attitude and is willing to work well in a team with the mutual vision of adhering to a high standard of work and providing customers with a bespoke service.
Duties of a trimmer include:
- Stripping interior components to a vehicle
- Measuring and cutting leather and other fabric
- Foam work
- Using sewing machines, adhesives and hand tools
We are looking for somebody with experience trimming seats, dashes, headlining, door cards and carpets. We are happy to mentor and teach in order to refine techniques of trimming; however, we require our new trimmer to have the skills and knowledge to work without assistance.
