Based at our Birmingham HQ, you will work at least 40 hours per week with 3 days on site. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic ERP / Application Management: Effectively manage resources across both BAU support and project work, ensuring seamless operations and the achievement of project goals within the dynamic environment of the ERP function. This includes software deployment and management across multiple PROD and non-PROD environments and staff training in various departments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engaging regularly with key internal stakeholders (Operational, Finance and Commercial) fostering positive relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, primarily around software developments, deployment and support.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Collaborating closely with third-party suppliers, such as Kerridge Commercial Systems, Magento and several others, to optimize ERP functionality for the business.
- Change Management: Overseeing the management of support calls (2nd line) and Software Change Requests, and with an eye on continuous improvement pushing the software vendor QA Team.
- Support: Providing essential support to the QA team, facilitating thorough testing processes and ensuring that all system changes are rigorously validated before deployment, contributing to the overall stability and reliability of the K8 ERP system.
- ERP Training: Training staff through both one-on-one and group sessions, covering various aspects of the K8 ERP system tailored to individual roles, including sales, warehouse, and management.
- Requirements: Capturing all company ERP system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and producing comprehensive documentation related to proposed developments and bringing on board efficient use of IT solutions as continuous improvements for business efficiency and cost reduction. This involves a thorough understanding of business requirements and effective communication with various departments.
- Software Development & Testing: Involvement with internal software development and contribution to the continuous improvement of the ERP system. Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the effectiveness of new developments before deployment.
- Report Generation: Constructing reports using Report Generator, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes within the organization and implementing new processes to streamline wider business functions.
- Additional Central-Level Business Analysis: Analysis of business processes required at a central level within the company's head office. This involves understanding unique job roles such as Product Management, Buying and working with additional modules like Sales & Nominal Ledger within the ERP.
Immediate Objectives are:
- Go Live with HHD and paperless Operation
- Batch Picking of Sales orders. Once Pick Notes are released, the system should batch same products together for more efficient picking.
- Automated Pick Sequence by top selling products.
- Suggest stock build WO for KIT lines based on their sales history of past 3 months.
- Gaining Operational efficiencies and pick/pack optimization.
- Build reports for various business functions.
- Other useful AI integration/reports that exist.
- Go-Live with WHSE Automation solutions to significantly improve Order pick rate.
Requirements:
