The Role: Gleeson Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a retailer seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead a growing team in a new UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to drive online growth and enhance the digital shopping experience for an established retailer in a new market. The successful candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce, people management, and strategic development, working to optimise performance and engagement.
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £50,000-£65,000
Start date: ASAP - June/July 2025
Contract: Full time, perm, full time in office
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the eCommerce team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximising efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including product managers and marketing teams.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of eCommerce initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage budgets and financial planning related to eCommerce activities.
- Identify and implement new features and improvements to enhance the online customer journey.
- Analyse performance data and customer insights to refine digital strategies.
- Strengthen partnerships with suppliers and internal teams to improve collaboration.
- Lead the strategic direction of eCommerce within the UK market.
Candidate Criteria:
- Proven experience in eCommerce management, ideally within retail or a related sector.
