Drainage Engineer ( Remedials team or Reactive team ) £35,000 (negotiable upon experience) + Overtime OTE of £10,000  Manchester  Full Time| Permanent | Monday to Friday Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer? Do you have some plumbing experience? Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Drainage Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to work as a Reactive Drainage/ plumbing operative responsible for supporting with reactive and some planned works. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent role The hours of work will be shift 7am – 5pm. Requirement to daily overtime, night work and stay aways when requested. Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include: Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers. Must demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment. Must be competent in operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works. Competent in operating HPWJ equipment Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework Removing and Installing cast iron soil pipework Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales. Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation. Taking water samples to confirm source of leaks.
