Job Description: Dispensary Manager Position Title: Dispensary Manager Reports To: Operations Manager or Owner Job Overview: The Dispensary Manager oversees all daily operations within the dispensary, ensuring compliance with local and state laws, managing inventory, supervising staff, and providing exceptional customer service. The Dispensary Manager ensures a smooth and effective working environment while maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere for customers and employees. Key Responsibilities: * Operational Management: * Oversee and ensure efficient daily operations of the dispensary. * Monitor inventory levels, reorder products as needed, and ensure all stock is properly stored and organized. * Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. * Supervise daily opening and closing procedures for the dispensary, ensuring security protocols are followed. * Staff Supervision and Training: * Hire, train, and manage dispensary staff, ensuring proper knowledge of products, regulations, and customer service skills. * Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage to meet customer demand. * Provide continuous training and professional development opportunities for team members. * Compliance and Reporting: * Ensure all dispensary activities comply with state and local cannabis laws and industry regulations. * Maintain accurate records for inventory, sales, and customer interactions, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant. * Work closely with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement when required to ensure compliance and uphold the reputation of the dispensary. * Security and Safety: * Ensure that all security protocols are followed to protect the dispensary, staff, and customers. * Oversee surveillance systems, ensuring proper use and data retention in line with legal requirements. * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the dispensary. * Experience: * Previous experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role, preferably in the cannabis industry. * Knowledge of cannabis products, industry trends, and legal regulations is highly preferred. * Skills: * Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities effectively. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispensary management software. * Certifications: Valid state-issued cannabis dispensary manager certification (if required by local regulations)
