We here at Aspire are looking for a Digital Audio Specialist to join a buoyant Advertising agency on a contractual basis. As a Digital Audio specialist your main duty is to artistically plan, buy, create and optimize audio content and advertise across digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and manage digital audio campaigns across platforms like Spotify, Acast, Global's DAX, and programmatic audio DSPs (e.g. AdsWizz, The Trade Desk). Own the media buying process - from audience planning and targeting through to trafficking and delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align audio campaigns with wider digital strategy.
- Creative & Production Support: Work closely with creative teams to guide the production of engaging and effective audio ads. Support script development, voiceover casting, and editing to ensure high-quality output tailored to each platform.
- Performance Analysis & Optimisation: Monitor campaign metrics including impressions, listens, completion rates, and engagement. Use data to identify trends, refine targeting, and improve performance over time. Deliver insightful post-campaign reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Voice & Emerging Tech: Explore opportunities in smart speaker content, voice search strategy, and interactive audio formats. Stay up to date with the latest innovations in the digital audio and voice space.
- Client & Team Collaboration: Act as the go-to audio expert for both clients and internal teams. Present strategy, performance updates, and creative ideas with clarity and confidence.
Experience:
- Solid experience in digital audio or programmatic media (agency or in-house).
- Strong understanding of audio platforms, ad formats, and audience targeting techniques.
- Familiarity with tools like AdsWizz, Google DV360, or The Trade Desk is a big plus.
- Creative flair and an appreciation for what makes great audio content.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bonus: knowledge of smart speaker marketing or voice search integration.
