Skegness train station is expecting to be busy for the school Easter holidays with lots of holidaymakers arriving and we need your help for customer service assistant roles!
Ideal for students who are off over the Easter period and those looking for extra cash as well as anyone looking for an interesting, face to face customer service role working closely with the public!
We have customer service assistant shifts available to help with a variety of duties including:
- Queue management for people getting trains in the busiest times
- Assisting passengers getting on and off trains (particularly those with additional needs)
- Scanning tickets
- Making tannoy announcements
- Clearing trains to assist cleaners in turnaround times
- Helping to talk to and direct/signpost the crowds at the station
Do you have face to face customer service assistant experience? Do you enjoy working with the public and assisting them? Would you be happy to help passengers with their queries about train services, directing them through the station and possibly to help them on and off trains and assist with their baggage at this busy train station? Are you a friendly individual with a level head who is able to deliver phenomenal customer service at the busiest times of the year? Then we want to hear from you!
Starting: 04/04/25 (full training will be provided - this may be on Thursday 03/04/25 but TBC) and lasting for a couple of weeks until 21/04/25 (they will use more people in the summer from mid-June so good to get in now!).
Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour – paid weekly.
Hours: Shifts available on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Monday and Friday shifts are either 09:45 – 16:45 OR 14:45 - 21:45. Saturday shifts will be 12:15 - 21:45. Flexibility is preferred.
