Credit Controller – Temporary to Permanent Location: Droitwich Contract: 3-Month Temp (with view to permanent) Salary: £25,000-£27,000 We are currently working in partnership with a well-established business who are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to support their finance operations during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a short-term role, with the potential to become a long-term member of the team. The successful candidate will play a vital part in managing the company’s accounts receivable, ensuring a smooth cash flow process and assisting with general finance and office administration tasks. This will be a full time position based at their office in Droitwich.  Key Responsibilities: Managing the credit control function, including proactive chasing of outstanding payments via phone, email, and written correspondence. Posting sales invoices accurately and within deadlines. Allocating incoming payments and maintaining up-to-date customer accounts. Producing aged debt reports and assisting with cash flow forecasting. Escalating problematic accounts where required (e.g. legal action or debt recovery). Creating and maintaining customer and supplier accounts in the finance system. Liaising with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to resolve queries. Assisting with general administrative support across the office when needed, including phone and email enquiries. Preparing and distributing customer statements. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or general finance admin. A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator with the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software. Qualifications: AAT Level 2 (or equivalent practical experience) is highly desirable.
