Our well-regarded client in the sector is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Manager to provide leadership and oversight their community care service in East Cornwall areas. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care that empowers individuals to live as independently as possible. Based from the Launceston office but with occasional potential travel to other branches / areas if the need arises. Package: * Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience, from £39k upwards * £5k yearly discretionary bonus * Wellbeing programme * Pool cars available for work purposes and mileage paid if using own vehicle * Regular pay reviews * Full time permanent contract * Company away days * Support to develop skills and training / qualifications * Friendly supportive team * Chance to make a real difference in the community Responsibilities: * Providing overall leadership, management, and direction for the administration, care, service delivery, and safety of the community care service. * Ensuring the service consistently meets all legal, legislative, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulatory standards * Leading, motivating, supervising, recruiting, training, and appraising staff to build and maintain an inclusive, high-performing team. This includes managing rotas and addressing performance concerns. * Overseeing initial and ongoing assessments, risk assessments, care planning, and record-keeping (especially in the absence of a Team Leader), ensuring a person-centred and holistic approach to client care. * Building and maintaining effective working relationships with service users, their families, internal teams, external stakeholders (including Local Authorities, Commissioners, GPs, and Social Workers). * Participating in shared duty responsibilities, including out-of-office hours and potentially providing direct care in emergencies. * Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services that promote independence, choice, and dignity, and managing the office team and out-of-hours service provision. Requirements: * Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or similar) is essential, with a willingness to work towards a Level 5 in Leadership and Management. * Proven experience working in a community care service is required. * A proven track record of successfully managing a service within a community care setting. * Good knowledge and understanding of the needs of clients requiring care and support at home. * A good understanding of health and safety in relation to the services we provide. · A strong and inspirational leader * Highly organised and able to plan effectively * An excellent communicator (verbal and written) * Reliable, professional, and well-presented * Committed to continuous improvement and best practice * Able to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Knowledgeable about the principles of good practice, regulatory standards, and compliance within community care * Financially aware and able to manage budgets effectively * Full UK driving license and own vehicle, though pool cars available for work purposes If you are ready for this exciting challenge and believe you have the skills and experience to excel in this environment, please submit your CV for full details
