CNC Sliding Head Machinist

Overview We are seeking a skilled Sliding Head Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting and operating Citizen or Star sliding head machines using Fanuc controls. Responsibilities * Setting up and operating sliding head machines to produce high precision components * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Conducting in-process inspection to ensure products meet quality standards * Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues to minimize downtime * Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize production processes * Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment Qualifications * Proven experience in setting and operating Citizen or Star sliding head machines with Fanuc controls * Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques * Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance * Good communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to safety and quality standards Day-to-day The Sliding Head Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating sliding head machines to produce precision components.
