Our client is a Mutual Building Society with roots in its heartland, South Cumbria, but with a growing national presence due to its digitisation and distribution strategy. The main purpose of the Business Analyst is to support the delivery of Change initiatives within the Transformation and wider Change Programme that will underpin the short-term objectives and longer-term Business Strategy (5 Year Strategic Plan). This will involve supporting the Project Manager and analysing complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to senior management and taking active participation in the change framework.

In this role you will:
- Analyse complex business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to senior management and actively participating in the change framework.
- Support internal teams to realise opportunities to increase business efficiency and agility and deliver early incremental value.
- Apply a range of analysis techniques to elicit requirements from stakeholders to ascertain required business outcomes, adapting approaches to ensure desirable outcomes are achieved.
- Work with third party providers to ensure they understand the Society requirements and have access to the relevant stakeholders to both inform and test our delivery.
What you will bring:
- A recognised BA professional qualification (ISEB), Prince II, Lean/Six Sigma or similar.
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office) including a working knowledge of MS Project and Visio.
- Test management experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally you will also have experience of: Business analysis within the Financial sector; Supporting change management; IT project implementation or similar.

The location of this role is flexible, with hybrid working supported. The successful applicant will be required to regularly attend their head office in Barrow-in-Furness. They ask for circa. 1-2 days in the office per week, more on occasions when required.
