About the Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager. This role is ideal for a sales-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving growth, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities and maximising existing customer relationships.
- Implement and execute sales plans to achieve targets.
- Lead and manage all aspects of branch operations to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability of key products while minimising excess inventory.
- Foster strong relationships with trade customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Branch Manager, Sales Manager or Senior Leadership role within a builder’s merchant.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of the building trade, materials and industry trends is highly desirable.
