Bell Cornwall Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a Barristers Clerk at a large city Barristers chambers. They are looking for a confident and motivated individual to join their Team.

Barristers Clerk responsibilities:

  • Daily diary management alongside the 1st Junior and Senior Clerk
  • Liaising with solicitors concerning market rate fees for potential jobs and barristers
  • Managing cases based on the availability of counsel and level of urgency
  • Maintaining chambers client database and assisting in the upkeep of the group's website
  • Managing emails and telephone enquiries, while working as part of the wider staff team, including chamber's clients, Court staff and other Bar Clerks

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience within a Barrister's Clerk role
  • Working knowledge of Meridian Law Connected
  • Good interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external clients
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
