This Assistant Accountant position offers huge potential for growth, giving you exposure across all areas of finance while working closely with qualified accountants. As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be joining a well-established and highly respected team that will support your development every step of the way, with full study support on offer (ACCA or CIMA).
Whether you're assisting with month-end, diving into tax, or supporting budget holders to understand performance, you'll be right at the heart of a high-performing finance function. The role is rotational, so you'll gain wide-ranging experience that sets you up for long-term progression.

What you'll be doing:
- Supporting with month-end tasks: journals, reconciliations, trial balance
- Assisting in the production of management accounts and internal reports
- Working directly with budget holders to improve financial understanding
- Supporting quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, VAT and corporation tax returns
- Helping prepare statutory accounts and reviewing internal controls
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 12 months' recent experience in a finance environment
- Degree qualified or started your studies (ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Keen to learn, grow and build a successful finance career within a major organisation
