I am recruiting an experienced Paraplanner to join the team at Monenti Partners, a leading Financial Planning firm based in central London (WC1).
The Opportunity: The successful Paraplanner will be Diploma qualified (Dip PFS) and will receive the support required to become Chartered. We are happy to consider a career Paraplanner, or a Paraplanner who is keen to progress into advising, when your skills and experience allow. We are also happy to support someone who is interested in developing an area of specialism. The successful Paraplanner will be keen to make a significant contribution to a progressive and ambitious firm, while being invested in, valued and rewarded accordingly.
The Role: Working in a collaborative, client focused team you will work closely with the Financial Planners, supporting them in delivering an exceptional, fully holistic, independent, lifestyle financial planning service to frequently complex, HNW clients. You will be responsible for building cash flow models in partnership with the Financial Planners, producing recommendations and report writing, supporting with the building, technical research, and implementation of the financial planning solutions required to meet a variety of clients needs and personal goals.

Responsibilities include:
- Review client fact-finds, risk profiles, objectives, and existing arrangements.
- Undertake cashflow modelling and scenario analysis.
- Prepare technical research and comparisons for advisers.
- Draft suitability reports, recommendation letters, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is FCA-compliant and audit-ready.
- Assist with product and platform due diligence (including VCT, Business Relief, and Investment Solutions).
- Respond to file checks and action remedial points.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails.
- Liaise with advisers, clients, and providers to clarify information and gather documents.
- Support ongoing client reviews, including portfolio rebalancing and fund switch recommendations.
- Address technical queries and provide support to the wider team as required.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 18 months experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within an IFA/wealth management environment.
- Cii Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Dip PFS or equivalent).
- A good technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, tax wrappers etc.
- An aptitude for technology, with experience of cashflow modelling.
- Compliance-focused with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of numeracy and analytical ability.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
- A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Keen to learn, with the opportunity to progress towards becoming Chartered if you choose to do so (study support will be provided).
