The Role: I am recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyor to join the team at Easton Bevins, a progressive and ambitious Property Consultancy. This Chartered Building Surveyor role provides an opportunity to join the small and expanding central London office (WC1R), working for a wide variety of clients (including several large management companies), assessing and providing technical advice on a wide range of projects (refurbishments, high-rise developments, roofing projects etc.). Easton Bevins are not a ‘tick-box’ firm; their work requires independent thought and critical thinking, and the successful Building Surveyor will enjoy the responsibility and autonomy to make a marked contribution to the success of the business. As the London team expands, your contribution will be recognised and you will be rewarded with ongoing career development and the opportunity to progress into management.
The Person: The successful Building Surveyor will have experience of working on a range of building surveying projects, including contracts, JCTs, fire safety/fire risk assessments etc. The salary offered and the benefits package will be highly competitive and will reflect your level of experience.
- Basic salary £50,000 - £75,000 (dependant on experience)

Chartered Building Surveyor, Skills and Experience:
- Project management skills with experience of working on a range of building surveying projects, including contracts, JCTs, fire safety/fire risk assessments etc. and excellent commercial awareness.
- A good understanding of construction technology, construction contracts and legislation.
- A methodical approach, with great attention to detail, a creative approach to problem solving and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- A full UK Driving License.
