Salary and Benefits: £60-75,000 basic salary (dependant on experience) + continued professional development and financial support with professional exams + 30 days holiday + bank holidays + a generous pension + free parking. The office is located in Poole, Dorset (BH14) and as the majority of clients attend meetings in the office, the successful candidate will live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships and servicing their needs, helping them to make positive decisions about their financial future.
- Manage and conduct Financial Planning Meetings and ad-hoc client meetings, ensuring that advice is achieving best outcomes for clients’ individual needs and circumstances.
- Provide all advice within a strict ethical and compliance framework, ensuring that all operations affecting the firm’s clients are carried out in accordance with the regulator.
- Deliver new client onboarding alongside the Managing Director.
- Work with the team to produce clear, technically accurate, compliant, and concise Financial Plans, Recommendation Reports and Planning Meeting Summaries, within required timescales.
- Ensure all client documents meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure continuous development of your financial and technical expertise to meet regulatory requirements and your personal goals and objectives, keeping informed about the latest in financial services, markets, products, technical developments, and economic trends.
- Comply with regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty, AML, SPS and CPD.
- Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Skills and Experience:
- An experienced Financial Planner / Financial Adviser OR an Associate Financial Planner, with extensive client facing experience, ready to transition into leading client relationships.
- Experience of all areas of financial planning - cashflow forecasting, taxation, investment portfolio management, pensions, protection, estate planning etc.
- Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS, Level 4) as a minimum.
- A strong relationship builder and presenter, with exceptional interpersonal skills, skilled at questioning and listening to uncover client objectives, developing and maintaining trust and inspiring confidence.
- Quality focused, analytical, highly organised with great attention to detail and an excellent compliance record.
- A collaborative team player who is a critical thinker, self-driven, with the ability to apply judgement and experience when making decisions and speaking to clients.
- Embracing of technology and a competent user of MS Office and financial planning / cashflow modelling software.
