I am recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyor (Senior Building Surveyor) on behalf of Easton Bevins, a progressive and ambitious Property Consultancy. Working in the North Bristol office (BS32), alongside a team of 10 Surveyors, the Senior Building Surveyor will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced team members (Graduates/Interns), working for a wide variety of clients, assessing and providing technical advice on a diverse range of interesting projects (commercial, retail, high-rise developments, high-end residential, design specifications, refurbishments, fire remediation, cladding replacements, dilapidations, party wall and roofing projects etc.).

The successful Chartered Building Surveyor (Senior Building Surveyor) will have experience of working on a range of building surveying projects and will have an aptitude for mentoring less experienced team members. The salary offered and the benefits package will be highly competitive and will reflect your level of experience.

  • Basic salary up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

We are happy to facilitate flexible working hours, but as you will be mentoring less experienced team members you will mainly work from the office or on-site, so you should live within a commuting distance of North Bristol (BS32).

Skills and Experience:

  • Project Management skills with experience of working on a range of building surveying projects.
  • A good understanding of construction technology, construction contracts and legislation.
  • A methodical completer/finisher, with great attention to detail, a creative approach to problem solving and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • An aptitude for mentoring and sharing their knowledge with less experienced team members (Graduates/Interns).
  • A full UK Driving License.
