The Role: I am recruiting an IFA Administration Manager (Senior Client Relationship Manager/Senior IFA Administrator) on behalf of Wealth Matters, a leading independent Financial Planning firm based in Luton (LU1)). Working in a collaborative, fast paced and client focused team, you will oversee the team of IFA Administrators (known internally as Client Relationship Managers), as well as working closely with the Head of Advice, Delivery and Development, supporting her in delivering an exceptional financial planning service to Wealth Matters’ clients. As the IFA Administration Manager you will support, mentor, train and develop your team, overseeing workflow, process, quality and compliance. Working alongside your team you will develop client relationships, prepare for client meetings and action all tasks arising, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and to tight deadlines and that clients are receiving the best service possible. The Person: The successful IFA Administration Manager will be an experienced IFA Administrator / Financial Planning Assistant, with some supervisory, team leadership or management experience. They will be a motivational leader and an emotionally intelligent and supportive line manager, who is embracing of change, proactive, organised and detail orientated, with exceptional relationship building, customer service and administrative skills. They will be articulate, analytical and aspirational, keen to make a significant contribution to the growth of a progressive and ambitious firm while being invested in, valued and rewarded accordingly. Salary and Benefits: £42-55,000 (depending on experience) + bonus based on both individual and company performance + 26.5 days holiday + bank holidays + pension + hybrid working + we are happy to support your continued professional development and fund professional exams if you choose to take them, although there is no requirement for this (there is a salary increase with each exam passed). IFA Administration Manager (Senior Client Relationship Manager, Senior IFA Administrator), responsibilities include: * Mentor, lead, motivate and manage a team of Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), ensuring the delivery of an exceptional financial planning service and promoting a high performance, client first culture. * Oversee the induction and on-boarding of new CRMs. * Identify and implement training needs, ensuring your team are up to date on changes within the company and the wider industry. * Ensure the CRMs accurately follow processes (internal and client related), delivering high quality, client focused work and adhering to compliance standards. * Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies that improve workflow, strengthen client relationships and enhance team performance. * Support the evolution of the service proposition through the smart use of technology. * Work closely with the Head of Advice, Delivery and Development, supporting her in delivering an exceptional financial planning service to her clients. * Develop relationships with clients, arrange meetings and be the main point of contact for any queries on their portfolio. * Assist with pre and post Financial Planning Meeting preparation, including researching clients’ existing arrangements, collating supporting documents, producing compliant illustrations and application forms and completing all actions arising including fund switches, withdrawals and assignment of policies. * Process new business application forms, proposals and supporting documentation and contract administration of recommended products (pensions, ISA’s, Investments, Bonds, Protection etc.). * Produce management information and record and update all client information on the back-office system. * General administration and project work. IFA Administration Manager (Senior Client Relationship Manager, Senior IFA Administrator), skills and experience required: * An experienced IFA Administrator / Financial Planning Assistant (or equivalent) with some supervisory/leadership/management experience. * A motivational and supportive leadership style and positive outlook. * Intelligent, proactive and embracing of change. * A strong relationship builder with exceptional customer service skills, tactful, trustworthy, diplomatic and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. * Professional appearance, confident manner and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Comfortable working on your own initiative, setting personal and team goals, directing workflow and managing conflicting deadlines. * Excellent administrative and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. * Strong technology and mathematical aptitude, proficient with MS Office. * A strong team player who is articulate, analytical and aspirational, keen to make a significant contribution to the growth of a progressive and ambitious firm.
