An established engineering company specialising in high-precision aerospace systems is seeking a Senior Aerospace Mechanical Design Engineer to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex aerospace components and assemblies.
- Utilise SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software) for high-precision mechanical design.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on intricate assemblies.
- Produce detailed technical reports, including structural substantiation reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Present technical and regulatory information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the department.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong knowledge of aerospace design, manufacturing, and regulatory processes.
