About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to support a fast-paced food manufacturing site during a key project phase. This role requires someone who is highly organised, systems driven, and comfortable operating in a dynamic factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and optimise daily/weekly production schedules
  • Analyse capacity and materials availability to ensure efficient planning
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, technical, and QA teams
  • Support continuous improvement and planning system enhancements
  • Provide accurate scheduling data and updates to stakeholders

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Preactor
  • Advanced Excel (super-user level)
  • Production planning experience within food manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • Able to work under pressure in a high speed factory environment

Desirable

  • SAP experience (advantageous)
  • Experience working on short-term planning improvement projects

Package & Working Options

  • £400 per day LTD (all-in)
  • PAYE options also available
  • Initial 6-8 week contract with a strong chance of extension
