As the Maintenance Engineer, you\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.
The Maintenance Engineer responsibilities will include:
? Planned Preventative Maintenance – Keeping machinery running smoothly to minimise downtime.
? Breakdown Response – Reacting swiftly to faults, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
? Fault Diagnosis & Repair – Troubleshooting and fixing electrical and mechanical issues.
? Continuous Improvement – Identifying ways to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.
? Collaboration – Working closely with the production team to maintain seamless operations.
What You\’ll Need
Technical Expertise – Strong electrical skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems. As the Maintenance Engineer you will be expected to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site service and ideally you will have experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG) and have some the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro – technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical or production maintenance engineering.
This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.
Location: Commutable from Woolich, Bexley, Dartford, Bromley, Greenwich,Sidcup, Lewisham, Swanley, and Erith
