An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Production Manager to join our dynamic food manufacturing team based in Corby. This role is ideal for an individual who has graduated within the last couple of years and ideally has some experience in food production or the FMCG sector who is interested in stepping up to a leadership role and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate production teams to maintain efficient workflows and uphold high-quality standards in food manufacturing.
  • Oversee and manage production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining product integrity and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to prevent shortages and maintain production flow.
  • Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing Principles, including 5S/6S methodologies, to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Carry out regular team briefings to communicate production goals, process improvements, and safety updates.
  • Manage staffing levels and shift planning to ensure consistent production coverage.
  • Support operational duties as needed, stepping in to assist with production tasks and address any challenges.
  • Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to optimize machinery performance and minimize downtime.
