We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their specialist installation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on mechanical engineer who enjoys working on-site, travelling, and being involved in large-scale engineering projects across the UK and Europe. Working as part of a mobile installation team, you will support the installation, commissioning, repair, and decommissioning of bespoke material handling systems at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and commissioning of engineered material handling systems across the UK and Europe
- Working within a mobile engineering team on multi-day installation projects
- Carrying out mechanical installation, repair, and decommissioning activities on customer sites
- Supporting project delivery to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Liaising professionally with customers, end users, and system integrators on-site
- Travelling regularly throughout the UK and EU, including overnight stays (all accommodation and expenses covered)
- Conveyors
- Cranes
- Automated storage systems
- Racking systems
- Material handling equipment and associated mechanical systems

Requirements- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical engineering experience
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the UK and Europe
- Comfortable working away from home on customer sites
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid Passport for international travel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- £39,000 basic salary

- Overtime paid after 50 hours per week
- Realistic OTE of up to £50,000
