Milton Keynes
£55,000 – £60,000 per annum + benefits
Monday to Friday, Days – 8:00am to 5:00pm

About the Role
We\’re excited to announce a brand-new position for a skilled Utilities & Facilities Engineer to join our expanding engineering team at our state-of-the-art food manufacturing site in Milton Keynes.
This is a day-based, Monday to Friday role, perfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact. You\’ll take ownership of maintaining and improving all site utilities and facilities, ensuring reliable performance, safety, and compliance across boilers, air compressors, refrigeration systems, fire safety systems, and other essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of utilities and facilities equipment, including boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, and fire systems.
·Conduct building and facility maintenance and continuous improvement tasks across the site.
·Support planned lubrication and maintenance tasks in collaboration with the Day Engineer.
·Diagnose and resolve machine and system faults efficiently and cost-effectively.
·Coordinate specialist contractors and manage service visits when external expertise is required.
·Maintain accurate engineering records and handover reports for all activities.
·Contribute to improving OEE, reliability, and site safety standards through proactive engineering.
About You
·Time-served or apprentice-trained electrically biased multi-skilled engineer.
·Qualified to HNC / ONC / City & Guilds in Electrical Maintenance (minimum).
·Experience with utilities systems such as boilers, compressors, refrigeration, and fire systems.
·Proven background within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced environment.
·Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills; mechanical knowledge beneficial.
