An experienced Engineering Team Leader or Maintenance Supervisor is required to join the team within a FMCG Environment. The Team Leader must have proven experience in leading and directing a team of maintenance engineers within a manufacturing environment.
The Engineering Team Leader’s key focus areas will be:
- Manage a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
- Scheduling and prioritising workloads
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Optimise machine availability
- Have excellent knowledge of health and safety
- Improve KPIs
- Minimise machine downtime
- Prevent manufacturing lost time
- Achievement of the Preventative Maintenance Plan
- Generating continuous improvement ideas
- Reactive Maintenance
The Engineering Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor MUST have experience of working as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating an understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably food processing, experience of working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems.
The successful Maintenance Team Leader or Engineering Team Leader will have some of the following qualifications:
- BTECH, ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification
- C&G, NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
- Time served apprentice
- Multi-skilled Engineer
- HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
This position would suit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Team Leader, Engineering Team Leader, Electrical Team Leader, Electrical Supervisor.
